About The Project

Servite College in Tuart Hill, WA is an independent Roman Catholic co-educational secondary day school. Featuring many shared learning spaces, the importance of a supportive and comfortable learning environment is paramount for Servite College’s students.

With wellbeing at top of mind, we were fortunate enough to supply our natural timber product in the form of our proplank system. Blackbutt click-in timber battens were selected to be fixed against the wall of a shared learning space, on the opposite side the library.

The battens were pre-finished in our WA factory, making them ready to install upon delivery, without another coat being required. These blackbutt 60x20mm battens were coating in Cutek Extreme CD50 oil, a penetrating oil that while designed for exterior applications, can be used for internal timber walls not exposed to the elements.
