About The Project

We were proud to be a part of the development into Brightwater Care Group Ltd.’s Piara Waters Huntington’s project.

Huntington’s Disease is a severe, inherited neurological condition leading to the gradual breakdown of nerve cells in the brain.

The timber-framed and timber-cladded homes feature three accessible bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, SDA-compliant kitchens, and cutting-edge technology, fostering a community environment for residents to engage in daily activities.

More than just construction, this project is a testament to transformative care. We extend our gratitude to Brightwater Care Group, KPA Architects and Dale Alcock projects for involving us in this meaningful and incredible project.

Vacoa is a sustainable nordic knotty pine material that comes from thermally treating Nordic Pine. It’s produced in Europe and the thermal process drastically increases the stability of the timber. Thermally modified timber is wood that has been heated in temperatures greater than 190 degrees Celsius to create changes in the wood at a cellular level. This makes Vacoa easy to work with and can therefore be used for both interior and exterior applications.
