What types of timber panels do you offer?

We don’t offer timber panels as such, but our timber lining boards can achieve the panelling effect once they’re installed.

How sustainable are your timber lining products?

As a PEFC certificate holder, Mortlock Timber is committed and responsible for sourcing sustainable timber in efforts to maintain Australia’s forestry and ecosystem. Learn about our PEFC Chain of Custody certification here.

Can timber lining and panelling be used in outdoor settings?

Majority of our timber products can be applied to outdoor settings, however our Satinplank range is made exclusively for interiors.

Is it easy to install the timber lining?

Yes. Our timber profiles are designed for easy and efficient installation. Please refer to our installation guides for more information on each timber product.

Do you offer custom sizes and designs for timber lining & panelling?

Yes. Our timber lining and panelling systems can be customised to suit your specifications. Please note, custom samples and sample boards can take three to six weeks depending on requirements.

How do I maintain and care for my timber lining to ensure longevity?

We highly recommend using a coating product before and/or after installation, depending on the application. You may also need to apply a maintenance coat every 12 – 18 months. Please refer to our maintenance guide for more information.

Can you provide installation services for timber panels?

As Mortlock Timber is a manufacturer and a supply-only company we do not provide installation services. However, we do offer installation assistance to architects, builders, and contractors to ensure your project is installed correctly.

Are samples of your timber lining and panelling products available?

Yes. To request a sample, you simply complete a form on our website and our team will get back to you.

How do your interior timber lining products contribute to indoor air quality?

Our timber products are 100% natural timber which has a positive effect on indoor air quality, moisture regulation, and offers biophilic benefits.

What certifications do your timber products hold?

We hold a PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) Chain of Custody certification for many of our timber products.

Can I use your timber panels in a commercial project?

Yes. Our timber lining and panelling solutions can be used in both commercial and residential projects.
