About The Project
Palm Bay residence is a stunning full home renovation that transforms a dated 1980’s home into a refined contemporary coastal retreat. Designed by Lux Interiors, the project preserves the character of the original brick structure and its curved architectural forms while introducing modern detailing, natural light, and a timeless palette of materials.
Palm Bay is an expansive space defined by natural textures and curved architectural lines. A circular skylight floods the home with light, complementing the warm tones of the Pacific Teak timber used throughout the exterior project.
Featuring a combination of Trendplank 120×19 cladding, Marineplank 230×19 decking and Proplank 40×20 battens pre-oiled in Cutek CD50 Clear, Pacific Teak brings harmony across the façade, decking and feature walls.
The Palm Bay project has been recognised for excellence by the Housing Industry Association, receiving the 2023 HIA Winner award for Renovated Bathroom in its Price Category & HIA Finalist for Full Home Renovation 2023.
