Shou-Sugi-Ban, also known as Yakisugi is a Traditional Japanese method of charring timber with fire. The process forms a carbon layer on the exterior of the boards which protects the timber and reduces the maintenance.     Every piece is individually graded and checked and can be hand brushed and pre-finished prior delivery to site to save installation time. After two years of refining our process we have this down to a fine art providing a high quality finish every time.
